I'd be in a group-buy for:
1. hi-res camera
2. infrared
3. front and rear
4. rearview mirror (always on) mode

Other things to consider would be:
5. option for second display (not through PCM)
6. dash-cam video logger event recorder

My hopes are that I will have an email from NAV TV early next week regarding a group buy. I will keep you posted.

Default No need for group buy!

Hello everyone! My name is Max and I am the store manager at Al & Ed's Autosound in West Hollywood California. I am an authorized Nav-Tv dealer. I would like to extend special pricing to all 991 GT3 owners who are interested in this excellent back up camera package. Please contact me to go over the options for shipping and installation.

Good to see new vendors arriving to Rennlist. I see you're already a member, so thank you for that contribution. I don't know all the rules, but I believe you need to have status a vendor or site sponsor in some capacity to sell on Rennlist.

I'm certainly interested in a "best in class" camera solution (I listed my criteria, above in an earlier post) so I look forward to someone recognizing the demand (since Porsche seems a bit blinkered on this request.)

My rear camera install. Camera works great and is amazingly quick to turn on once in reverse. Camera picture quality is amazing. My video doesn't do it justice.

Was this a DIY? And nav-TV or other components? Can you pm me what the price was if you had this done elsewhere? Thanks.

Max did my camera install (Nav TV). Very OEM look and I love it. No affiliation but highly recommended.

Yes a Navcam. Custom Car Stereo in Houston did the install. $1500 installed. $600 for their labor included in the $1500. They have done this to a couple of GT3's as well as other 991's so I felt comfortable with them and they have a great reputation. They do a lot of work for the Porsche dealerships in Houston. Picture quality is actually better than the Porsche factory system offered on the 991's

That indeed is a hilarious video! There were certainly other options to take and yet that driver insisted on 2,000 point turn after the infamous bump-and-feel method failed. A method I've seen many times while living in Boston. It really is a shame that manufacturers like Porsche are waiting until the 2017 mandate to put reverse cameras across their entire lineup. It's even worse when the GT3, which shares its body with all other 911s that offer the reverse camera, doesn't afford its owners the option. Why?!?
