Took my car in today for the clear bra & mesh campaign WE21 and my service advisor informed me there is a new campaign. AE11: 911 GT3 initiative 2014. Basically he said it's a quality check. He didn't show me the list of inspections as he was swamped. My car has already gone through the initial inspection where they drove it for 25 miles, etc before they delivered. This is a new one. Not sure what they are inspecting

I dont have my service manual in front of me but IIRC AE11 was the engine replacement campaign number...

Macca, that's correct; AE11 is the campaign listed on the invoice for my engine replacement under the title silverrules mentioned above. Maybe it's a follow-up phase to the original quality check or maybe his service guy is confused....

They could be doing a follow up after some miles have been put on to make sure all is well. I hope this is all it is and it would actually be a good thing to do and help reassure they are doing their due diligence.

Thanks Mike. Im sure I wasnt going mad. Silverrules - as you say your guy was swamped - I suspect hes made a mistake - he probably just needs a smoko break or a reboot LOL!

All I know on the day of delivery they spent a whole day inspecting the car and they had to report back to Atlanta before they could release the car. I specifically asked him if it's the same as delivery QA check and he said nope. New one. Maybe they didn't get paid. IDK. Will keep you posted guys.

+1 -- AE11 is the engine swap and the final checklist that includes all the quality tests.

Called service and you guys were right. This campaign was only for the owners that took delivery (A team) which has been done and does not apply to B team. My service advisor shown below didn't have his fix and messed up.
