Default After 10 months of waiting

My car is finally here due to be picked up on Friday after 10 months of waiting.

I cant wait. I will post pics. To all of you guys waiting at the port... I had to push really hard to get the car to the dealer after 3 weeks of sitting at the port and I am a 918 customer....... Be patient and I feel for you.

A few questions...

When I pick the car up will there be some sort of form to fill out for the compensation? Whats the process

How about the memory seats which mine was ordered with and doesnt have?

I also purchased the led clear side markers from bumper plugs for the 991... anyone purchase them... easy to install?

Thanks in advance.

Assuming side markers are similar to 997 then they are super easy to install. Do a search either here or web and you should find photo instructions.

Congratulations! I'll bet if you get the clear markers to the dealer, they'll install them free.

No papers to sign. Once dealer confirms delivery date to PCNA they will send out the paper work.

My dealer provided and installed my clear markers free of charge. I assume being a 918 customer your dealer will do the same.

Takes 2 minutes - I'd hope they do it, even if you had never stepped in the dealership before...

Dealer should do it free.

Sometimes the markers come out easy, but mine were on super tight--the tech had to break out that blue trim removal tool and spend a few minutes to carefully loosen it.

Make sure you get the clear amber LED version. Sunset and BumperPlugs have me too. About $110-130.

Can I use the non-LED clear side markers that I currently have with my 991 C2S with the 991 GT3?

Yes. But LED is cooler. And adds 3 butt dyno.

I know. I could always sell the non-LED and let the cool factor prevail :-)

You can use them but they stick out further to the side and are more obtrusive. The LEDs are flush with the bumper and more streamlined.
I got mine from my dealer and they matched Suncoast's price sans shipping.
