He is a Z06 guy based on his more recent posts and is looking forward to stomping GT3s etc. So, yeah he could be trolling.

To add something to this thread, a dealer in Bay Area was selling a heavily optioned ($156k IIRC) gt3 with 1-2000 miles on it for $3k over sticker.. That's actually an acceptable premium for having your car TODAY if you like the spec.

I have no idea if OP is trolling. But the fact that he spelled boyz with a z means nothing. You're trying too hard.

Ok from someone with a '10 GT3 and a fair amount of track time and having driven a Z06 Carbon I never understand why so many here knock the Vette. Yes for a daily driver it isn't as nice, but on track the Z06 C6 will kill even an RS. The new Z06/Z07, well that will take down any Porsche currently produced including any iteration of the RS they may come up with. Different cars for diff folks. But until you've driven a C7 or C6 Z06 you don't know hat great cars they truly are for the money.

Z06 is an awesome car and a great bang for the buck. Do you want a Chevrolet or a Porsche? That's the question

bc they are threatened.
i dont like the int of vette
some plastic here and there.
trans overheats.
suspension aint so good.
BUT throw 20k at it. still chepaer than RSGT3. and it WILL give any 997 gt variant a run for the money. once you drive it , you will have some respect for it. you may not like it or wnat to own it, but you will respect it.

They are not threatened my friends, some of them actually don't care. It's like a porsche fanboy going to the Ferrari forum telling them to respect porsche. Some do and some plainly don't care. Along the same line it's like a Kia or Hyundai going to a vette forum asking for respect. As I said before some will respect and some are just not interested. It could be rear end styling, interior or just not porschey (pricey) enough. I for one don't care and definately not threaten. I came from camp corvette.

I was in a Z06 (c6) at buttonwillow and the brakes gave out on the 2nd lap. To continue my track day I had to get into my C2S PDK and go have some fun. The z06 seats sucked, it squeaked (while it ran) and when my friend got it home he had to hand it over to MR goodwrench. Chevy never stops giving does it? The new one will be the new one big deal, when you take it to the shop you have to give it to Mr Obama.(Doesnt he still own GM?)

Same thing happened in 2007. Carlsen had all its GT3s marked up Used and New. Ask Mooty.

Why has this become a vette thread. Good grief there have really been enough of them.
