Default New guy

Hey guys, just want to take a moment to introduce myself. Been on Rennlist for years on the 996 forum as I have a 2001 C2 with a GT 3 kit . I have a 2015 gt3 on order for a Nov. 28 delivery. I've been lyrking around the forum and have really enjoyed all your insight. I look forward to my own contributions after I get the car. Tell me! How do I survive these 14 weeks of waiting????

By imagining future jaunts up Tijeras Canyon or on NM14, of course.

Congrats.

Congrats guys! 14 weeks?! Pssshhtt. Child's play. J/K. It's painful, but will be worth it (I'm told...).

The wait is sooo worth it, can't think of anything but this car since I have gotten her. Just took a friend up into the mountains and she was astounded at how nice it is. Hold it together it is worth the wait and then some!

I scoff at 14 weeks! I put a deposit on my 911/50 2 1/2 years prior to it's arrival. 2 1/2 years......now that is patience.

Welcome. I'm in my 14th month of waiting, it's not easy but the Rennlist community provides good support.

Careful what threads you read or you might have an exhaust, spare tires, extra wheels, and a few other bits laying around the garage before your GT3 even arrives!

Mine is suppose to be a 28th Nov delivery too, but I am going to do euro delivery, so that will delay my delivery even more.

Until they perfect the cryogenic freeze/thaw process, the Rennlist forums and enjoying your current Porsche are your best bets for passing the days. As I am sure you know, New Mexico is a great state for enjoying these cars!

Isn't that the truth. The Sharkwerks is on the way and I have the clear corners already. Now to get the car...

What spec/color have you gone for?
Just my pref... glad you went back to the red lights, they look nicer on any color.
