Is that like upscale Naugahyde? Or is it real suede? If it looks like a duck... hey! I can smell it too! And you get yours a week before me! Doh!

I think we'll all see some production movement (forward or delay ) after the factory vacation.

My spec & build remains unchanged for the past 10 days which in itself is a minor miracle!

Hey Rob, Perfect timing on your completion date 9/19, Octoberfest starts 9/20 and you remember the old Detriot rumors that the cars that got built before lunch were always better than those built after lunch!!!

Bitched to my dealer about my MY 2014 Nov delivery ( exited production March 20) and he heard back from regional rep the following:

"Latest factory '14 is due to arrive late November but these may be a bit conservative estimates so they could arrive sooner than dates indicated.

Earliest '15 we see is due late September!

Some 2015s in late September- crazy bastards started up the production line in July and gave the early 2015s my engine

I actually get it, but maybe Porsche should send me to Porsche Sport Driving School to ease my pain.

I might have missed something, but I'm assuming that since you're posting in the cat C thread you should be getting a 2015 now too, right? Did your car actually enter production?

In any case I was scheduled to exit production the day after you (March 21, 2014), and got bumped to MY 2015, with February delivery now (never entered production AFAIK). So I agree, the whole sequence of production got seriously jumbled. It's really not fair. I'd be happy with a feel-good gesture, something like you suggest. But it's hard to be sure PAG is really paying attention when it comes to these sort of issues for cat C people.

No sorry, I am a MY 2014 and my car exited production on March 20 and is in Germany awaiting my engine swap. I posted in Cat C thread to see if any of you guys are actually getting your 2015 cars in September. I am scheduled for Nov 2014 for my MY 2014 delivery to the dealer.

Got it. Yeah you must feel really bummed with a cat B car arriving so late. Sucks. I'm sorry.

We are in the same boat - I am nov 7th delivery for my2014. That date was actually further pushed from Oct 31 about two weeks ago (same time many on here were reporting getting cars well ahead of schedule). Frustrating to say the least.

I can't recall, are Cat B getting any compensation? If not, yeah thats wrong getting a 2014 at the same time as 2015s arrive.

Yes comp plus loaner
The issue is split between proximity to 2015s (comp and warranty partially fix that) and delivery in nov when car will just go into storage for winter.

It's so strange on the Cat B timing. Mine was supposed to finish late February. I finished mid July and is currently 5 days out of San Diego on the Glovis Composer. My delivery date is approaching here in the next three or so weeks. Seems odd that a car originally scheduled for less than a month after mine will arrive nearly three months later.

Yes Cat B do get compensation - $2000 per month, extended warranty and a loaner (I got a brand new Carrera S)

doubleurx- I think the issue is the August break. My car must not have made the cutoff before the vacation, and so I am getting the engine swap Sep 12 and will get the car early Nov. So we are about 2 months apart instead of 1 due to loss of August. Anyway, that's my best guess but perhaps there is nothing logical to it.
