Default Club sport package- Seat belts

Just want to know if the regular seat belts are still there in a car with the club sports package with six point seat belts.

The Configurator shows a picture of the six point seat belts with the regular one still installed.

Also, are the six point belts removable?

Yes, normal seatbelts are still retained.

6 point harness is easily removable if required

If the belts are like prior generations, Schroth profi with the sewn in eyelets on the lap belts then the lap belts are not so easy to remove. I expect the tunnel side belt would be hard to get to. Anyway, I just tuck the belts out of the way when using the 3 points on the street.

I notice that the options book lists the belts as "Supplied to fit yourself". great, you get to play with your new car, but why?

I would also like to know why you cant have the rollcage in NA???

All answers will be greatly appreciated.

Why on earth would the lawyers outlaw something that makes your car safer in a crash???

If I had to get T-boned by a Truck in a 991, I'd rather be in a cage equipped car than not??

In Australia, at least, they're allowed to fit the harness(es) and fire extinguisher, despite what the option details say. Mine have both been fitted, either at the factory or by the dealer.

Scott.
