Looks like an early apex to me. That vette was working it as he was trail braking the **** out of car and rotating it a lot.

Fun to watch.
Has your car arrived?

Glad you're ok. If you've never been on track with buckets and six points you will be so glad to relax and just drive instead of bracing yourself and to be a lot safer, too.

Could be due to it's driver...plenty of guys with sticky tires, high hp, highly modded cars only know how to go fast on the straights. And there isn't a lot of straight at that track for somebody like that to work with.

@ Nick, no. I got the vessels mixed up. It's on the Vega Leader. That boat hasn't crossed the pond yet

That must be a downer for you. However, if I recall you were going to out of the country anyway.

Sam, great vid, great driving....glad you and the car are mostly ok! Seems like getting onto the rumble strip may have unsettled the car just enough as you were entering that turn resulting in a less than perfect apex. Amazing how you were putting pressure on that Vette who had much more horsepower and tire. Really well done and fun to watch.

What track is that? looks fun, no walls too.

Been there done that. Replace spoiler, drive again!

Car is fast. Are you driving with PSM on? Sounds (to me) like its kicking in a lot on corner exit.

Good driving again Sam. You might try to stiffen the rear bar a hole. It will help with that understeer.

+1 keep video and data points coming. Very valuable feedback from you and others for those on the fence. Look forward to hear what the splitter costs. I bought my share

Would love to see more footage that shows steering, flappy inputs please.
Look forward to try it myself one day.

Awesome.

Thank you for taking the time and sharing.

Happy to see the damage was only cosmetic.

Just a slight detour to do a little bit of gardening; anyone who's pushed on-track has been there

+1

Thanks for sharing another great video Sam!
