eduardo, there is more spice coming, at the end, you'll see! So I finally find the hotel, it has valet parking only, there is no garage connected, you park in a public garage about 15 minutes away, the valet rides with me, I park in a handicapped space he says its fine, theres no problem, they "need" to keep a key, Im not overly happy but comply, they do this every day. Leipzig fascinating city, there is shopping everywhere, 2-4 giant shopping centers in proximity of the hotel. There are museums, of bach, the city history, egyptian history, musical instruments etc. I didn't see any museums I just wandered around. I ate a curry wurst with no curry, plenty of people speak english, its a university town, more "German" perhaps than the big city of Stuttgart, less international people. some women in German and in europe are smoking hot, they wear less make up than women here and people in genera are in better shape, I think its the walking and better food. The hotel is definitely nice. I go to check on my car and find an angry old person parking, squishing his 1 series bmw, between my car and a AMG G-wagen, the hotel placed in the adjacent handicapped space, I moved my car, further away. I notice a good amount of smoke upon start up I feel very anxious about this until I read its common on rennlist

The drive to Porsche Leipzig is relatively short, security there doesn't see me on the list, they eventually let me in and I drive up to the spaceship, its pretty cool inside is a lounge, there are garages where people are taking delivery of their new cars, and there is a track attached, if you take delivery at Leipizg, you drive on the track in a car similar to your own! eventually it gets straightened out and I am allowed to stay for a factory tour and lunch.. Leipzig is not the tourist attraction Zuffenhuasen is, you cant come here without reservations. The factory tour is led by a knowledgeable female guide, the cayenne, maccan and Panamera are produced here, the maccan is painted and if i rember correctly also has its body put together here, the other cars car arrive partially pre assembled, most of the guys who brought wives have smoking hot ones, and they seem to be pleasant to their spouses, in america i notice women are usually angry about something, or maybe its just the ones around me. There is a museum area with and awesome Carrera GT cut away, the people at Leipzig are quite proud of their involvement in the project, the pictures are of Leipzig, the lounge at Porsche and my car in front

The Leipzig selection shop has some interesting items, including racing suits/gear, i'll post pictures of what I bought tonight, on my way out I stopped to take the photo that you see above, i should have centered the Porsche script in the window, oh well pictures require more patience than I have, I should have looked it over better and of course early afternoon sun lighting not ideal anyway, I ate the most my whole trip at Porsche Leipzig, I didn't spend alot of money on food the whole, trip when you travel alone ( wife invited, was "too busy", didn't want to go, not interested , work, OCD etc etc) its not like you are going to a restaurant relax and talk with anyone, Im still afraid of mad cow the only beef I ate in Germany was at Porsche, the rest of the time i ate chicken nuggets or wurst, so, I think at this time the car was approaching 800 900 or 1000 miles, minimal or no smoke on start up, in first gear at low rpms car grumbles and shakes, motor is like a caged nervous animal, smooths out when up to speed, rain has subsided, get moving pretty quick on the autobahn, i let the few people by when they are on my tail, Im going at my own pace for me to enjoy, but I'm confident, no one who passed me could keep up if I felt like pushing it I put my sony action cam on the window, but I havent figured it out yet, maybe in a month or 2 i'll get that done. I was kind of pissed about the US not getting the hard shell sport seats, but Im kind of liking these seats, Im loving the red stitching and how when I'm tired i can lean back and the headrest is soft, Im heading towards Paderborn its a small town near Wewelsburg castle, I have an interest in war history, Im staying at the Best Western, its got 1970s **** carpet a dinky bathroom, its liveable but hell compared to where Ive been staying Im too spoiled, i picked it because of the attached parking garage, I get a nice space but wouldnt have made it up without the nose lift

Once again definitive proof that this thread is really a covert "viral" advertisement by Porsche for us to blindly select the front nose lift option
But what an amazing story and advertisement it is…

Hope you'll enjoy your car as much as I do! Really love it!
I agree on that front-lift option. It is THE best option you can get on the car IMHO!
Please keep up the nice posts and enjoy the rest of your trip!

so in the present here a back-- home woke up irritated this AM with a headache got to listen to my spouse tell me all last night what crappy person i am twisting a knife in my head for about an hour, at least at work Im respected by colleagues, some complicated cases today, but I do well , my hair cut is still delayed my girl has no cancellations, the only other person i like there is the muscle guy and hes on vacation, they try to set me up with the gay guy, I don't like him because he spits on me when he talks and all he talks about is how he cuts on himself when he is stressed out and threatens suicide when relationships don't work out. The muscle guy doesn't ask me too much about me and he talks about women he dates, he makes me laugh. I will have to try a new hair stylist, tonight cant find my wallet, got to gym late but on a happier not theres a girl at the gym I like looking at alot. shes 5'8" id say 125 lbs blonde hair lightly muscled not too big bottom or top, pretty like a younger version of Claire from Modern Family, everyone stares at her, she moves with a confidence in her exercises, shes built like a tennis player/beach volleyball player/surfer shes solid in what shes doing at the gym, not trying to hard, I realize why people find her irresistible.... shes a Porsche GT3 in a person, beautiful athletic, all around solid, proportioned just right
back tracking a bit, heres what i bought in Leipzig a special 1/43 scale boxster model, limited one of 500 with carbon hood and trunk decals, and a special Carrera GT model, unpainted metal with Walter Rohrl signature, only sold there, the model is made specially unpainted for them and when ever Walter comes by they have him sign a bunch, it s not a decal its his real signature, funny thing is body of real car is carbon not metal

This is really funny actually... It's a bit the antithesis of Macca's ED journal. I'm loving it.. I've got a feeling this is going to end up with
.... "so I've been kicked out of my home and have been sleeping in the gt3 parked outside the homeless shelter recently, boy am I glad I didn't get the non-reclining race seats... I would have been able to be nearly as comfortable during these long nights... Heater in the gt3 works better than expected until the battery died middle of the night.. May have to sneak back into my house to get some food as I'm starting to get hungrY.. Did you know you can cook eggs on the engine if you get your homeless buddies to press the accelerator down for about 10 minutes at 9k rpm.. A bit noise for a stove but hey, man's gotta eat..." Etc etc etc stream of consciousness style

so back to where we were in the story, I on my last day and heading towards the Ring, its raining again, the ring doesnt open til 530 pm, I get there around 130 or 2, if you are going there, the Nurburgring is the F1 track, you are looking for some buildings and a restaurant near a roundabout, the signs you want are alter ring or Nordschleife (old ring or north loop) I decide to go to the new ring to go to museum and buy some stickers for my car, I get there park in their garage, (raising nose agin) the museum is closed down, replaced by shops and new stuff, theres some event at this track today , lots people, there are a number of shops, at the info/ticket office I can buy laps of the real ring on discount 21 euro instead of 27, I buy 3 laps, you want "touristfahren" "nordschleife" and the german word for laps is Runden, I buy some stickers hats and some driving gloves, theres a nissan display with a model of the nurburgring track, I eat a bratwurst mit brot (bratwurst with bread), I hoped to use all me euro cents up as they are yucky, at he food stand, the guy who makes my brat and takes my money does it all bare handed and he has grubby fingers with dirty nails. Im killing time here waiting for the ring to open, I drive out of the garage and head towards the nordschleife in the village between the Nurburgring and Nordschleife of the Nurburgring, I see a hotel named Schmitz, I park my car and ask is this Sabine Scmhitz's house, they tell me its her moms hotel , and she isnt there, I tell them I came from America and wanted to take a picture, (can you say stalker), I head for the Ring and meet a German with a 991 GT3 he is shocked to see another one, he takes a picture of me and vice versa, i then go to the famous Dottinger Hohe gas station, buy gas look at the models in the shop, then I head back to the ring parking lot, the attendant then tells me its not 530 but 6 wen they are opening-arrrgh I want to get back to Stuttgart before too late, The GT3 draws a crowd, the picture is when there is still a couple of hours before opening time and even with a few cars everyone is staring at mine, they stare at the PCCBs a lot, people are fascinated by the odd looking number plates, its the car that got the most attention there

a little bit more before I go to bed. the first pic above is the german guy, the second is me and some motorcycle guys, motorcycle people in Europe are giants, they are usually very fit and they blast by you in the rain even, I think they are crazy, definitely not the pot bellied plumber in a Harley you see in America, these guys are like late 30s-40, I am 6'2' and they are all bigger than me, the white shirt I am wearing is a German soccer team jersey I bought on sale,. When I travel I bring all my old underwear socks shirts and pants, I throw my clothes away leaving room for souvenirs, i didn't bring enough shirts so i bought this one, it was on sale, with the soccer mania that week lots of people were wearing them including a hot Lufthansa Stewardess at the airport, (there are no hot stews in America anymore, but other countries still have them)
