Atlas 408-SL is the lift, the jacks are Atlas RJ-5000. This was the combo I got:

My only complaint is that the jacks don't sit flush, and there is barely any room to get them under a low car. I'll definitely need the axle lift on the GT3 to get the jacks under. Here is the jack in action:

10ft is enough room! You need the height of both cars plus 8 inches. In my case, for a spyder and GT3, you need 108" (50" each, plus 8). I have 116" of space, so some room leftover, but very small.

Default Finally... the bike i've been working on for 1.5 years

ok, here she is.. her name is "una".. which means "one female" in italian. I had been sketching this bike for a long time.. and since I couldn't have my own car designed... I figured designing and building a bike was the next best thing.

Started out life as a Ducati 999 superbike, with a 1000cc Monster air-cooled engine in it... and then every other part on it is custom. I wanted to create a continuation of the 999 "streamline" locomotive design which pierre terblanche had envisioned with the 999... but in an art-deco fashion. The inspiration was also to make a "modern" take on the cafe racer.. but again.. art deco.

so I designed it, and then I had a very talented human being named Ian Halcott bend the metal to fit my design... 180 labor hours later, spent at the english wheel and hammering away... this is what we have. She is a joy to ride.. every single part is custom, fabricated, or somehow modified to fit... up close, she requires hours to take in every detail.

We are not finished with her yet.. currently designing the carbon bellypan, using a really cool CAD program to model everything exactly like I've drawn it originally... one juicy detail... it will have wings down by the engine... yea, wings.

here are a few pics.

and a few pics of me riding her.

the next one I'm designing will be built around a carbon-fiber frame... bonneville salt flats racer style...again, all hand-formed aluminum, but very shiny and organic this time... stay tuned if you're into wacky bike designs ;-D
