Min $20K off MSRP if the paint is not damaged from sitting outside for 6 months. If the paint is damaged the car is worthless to me.

I totally agree. Missing the whole summer now means that my car will be well over a year old before I can really start using it properly. $2k/month isn’t enough to offset the depreciation and carrying costs through this winter for me. But I think $3k would do it.

I think we need to get another Action Group letter requesting the additional compensation for those regions with $2000 to $3000 indicating that we need to be closer to some of the other regions who are getting more. And, now, that we have some idea of dates and the longer than expected journey wait that it will have an impact on all for the summer enjoyment and potential depreciation due to the release of 2015 in 4th quarter.

Question, do you think Porsche would compensate me from the Euro delivery Date they missed or from the delivery date the car would have been received in Canada at the dealership? Difference of about two months.

Did you pay for the car in full several weeks in advance of the Euro delivery date? That's a requirement in the US. If you paid for the car, then no doubt the Euro delivery date should count. If you didn't pay for the car, then your case is not as strong. Good luck!

I didn't have to pay for the car before, so it looks like i might get burned. It did feel weird getting a Porsche turbo for 3 weeks no questions asked, while in the back of my head thinking what would happen if i decided not to take the GT3 when it arrived.

Just Jordan likely Est delivery date to delivery date. I had Euro del scheduled April 12 and now who knows possibly Sept I'm still keeping the Euro Delivery so for me it's likely Euro pick up to Euro pick up. Since you switched they likely will take a estimate to keep it consistent. The difference is that the time in europe is different for each person a couple days to even a couple months (with extended coverage) this can create vast differences in delivery times here in North America. Of course they could make a timing mistake like they have been....

when does the compensation kick in? after delivery or during waiting period? for example, does pcna start sending checks for every months my car is late or do they cut the check after I take delivery?

Ian told me compensation will be given all at once at the time of delivery.

That's odd. Today, during my call, I was told to call PCNA after I took delivery and the check and engine certification documentation would then be sent to me directly.

"at the time of delivery" and within 1-2 weeks by mail from PCNA I don't consider to be mutually excusive.

Same here. Once we take delivery of the car. We have to call so they can send us the paperwork and reimbursement accordingly and prorated to the original date of delivery

I hear you. I was just trying to answer the question--which was either a check every month or at delivery and I was told "after" delivery.

Specifically, I was told after delivery and after I sign a release...
