Default Mesh for front wheel wells

I'm picking up a new Carrera loaner later today, but I wanted to look forward to the day that we all can get back Ito driving this car. Has anyone had a local shop or dealer come up with a mesh to protect the radiators from rocks? Perhaps I'm being a little optimistic, but hey there's nothing else we can do!

Like this? http://www.rennline.com/Front-Bumper...nfo/E89.92.93/

They might already be working on a kit.

Yes, that would be ideal.

I thought this was interesting. This is a pic of a 934 front wheel well.

Capital City Motorsports in Sacramento. Gary Biehl is the crew chief on our Park Place cars and can make mesh fender liners for the radiators or front grilles no problem. He's a little busy until we're done with Sebring next weekend. Can I help put you guys in touch?

Thanks Pat. I for one would be interested once this no-drive mess gets worked out. Maybe some kind of group buy would lower the price and make it worth his while to come up with something.

I'm sure we can talk Gary into doing it and keeping a couple sets in stock. I'll ask Park Place parts dept. if the Carrera fender liner is the same PN so maybe we can cross pollinate the two.

Where does the mesh go? I thought the front came with mesh over the front bumper?

It does. But the radiator/fan dumps heat into the fender area ahead of the front wheel and as you can see, there is no mesh covering the exhaust opening.

I'm very interested. I think the same type of mesh as the front end custom fitted with some way of attaching it securely. Don't want those things flying off into the tire and wheel!
Group buy would be good.
