I wouldn't be doing the film. I'm curious as to how the wing would come out. It's tough to tell if there are edges, etc on the pictures with black. It's a lot of money for a full wrap with the unknown of how that is going to come out...

Gotcha...I misunderstood.

There will need to be some relief cuts and some areas will require a few pieces to be joined next to each other. This is a very advanced installation, so the installer needs to be on his/her game. Best thing to do is simply search for some installers near you, the film manufacturer will have a dealer locator, then go to the shop and see their work. You'll get an excellent gauge of their skill based on their installation quality.

There is a great shop in New York area called Detailing Dynamics. I know for sure those guys are capable of it.

If all else fails, just send it to us

I ended up using pro shield in sterling va. He's done all my m cars, had my tts cab completely wrapped there, and my macan turbo wrapped.

Based on the pictures I'm not sure he's quite as meticulous BUT he does a great job.

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask this question, but wondering (for those doing a coating--Opticoat Pro, CQuartz Finest, Modesta, etc.) if you are also including your wheels. Especially for those with PCCB. I understand that in general, it helps with brake dust and possibly chipping. Just curious bc with with PCCB, the brake dust is a non issue and was wondering if the benefit of potential chip protection would be worth the cost.

Thoughts?

Tim - Yes, when I do the Cquartz it is a $100 dollars extra for the wheels. For $200 they will take them off and do the insides but I do not want them taking off wheels. I think if you have PCCB no sense because little to no brake dust. I have the red calipers so will do wheels.

Thanks, Jim. That's the quote I just got over the weekend too--$100 for the wheels, no removal of wheels. But if brake dust / cleanliness is the only benefit, I'm going to pass bc of the PCCBs.

Jimmy does your dealer do your work or contract it out. I pick up near you and would like to do a clear bra before I drive it. can you refer me to someone in the Chicago area? I do have a local guy here but he only offes the deer hunter camo.
