I think they are on the right path.

The philosophy of Porsche & GM are worlds apart. It's best they stay that way.

Nice, no Turbo.

Still has the weird shapes in the roof, frunk, front fenders, rear diffuser part and rough rear wing.
Would the shapes in the frunk and roof be only to lend strength to the lighter materials?

This one looks no closer to introduction than months ago. Maybe waiting for the 2016 model facelift?
Wheels look like 21" and 20" to me.

CL.

Sounds awesome.

RWS? I assume yes, but maybe less? Just like the GT3 has less than the Turbo?

Hopefully, a turbo is just a rumor. It's not needed. Look how fast the Cup cars are.

The slow conversion to turbos for all euro cars is a response more to emissions than need for additional power.

no sign of necessary intercooler ventilation anywhere on the rear of the car, no intercoolers, no turbos... unless inexplicably they have abandoned the RUF inspired twin intercooler design and returned to a 993 scheme with a larger single IC over the engine.

Are you suggesting the vents on top of the rear behind the rear window
could be used as intercooler vents?

Definitive news: ITS NOT A TURBO according to pistonheads, and your own ears. Also, the wing is huge, the front fender vents have disappeared, and the PDK seems to shift even faster than on the gt3...

Wait for the still pics at the end
