This is from Wikipedia about the driver, Horst von Sauma:
"A well-known feature of Sport Auto is the "Supertest", wherein Saurma tests sports cars at their limit on the track (using fully road-legal trim) and their resulting lap times at the Nürburgring and the Hockenheimring are compared. I think that the Auto motor und sport - list is a list of track times being recorded under similar conditions.

.(Nearly) all lap times from Auto-Motor-Sport (SportAuto) are driven by Horst von Sauma (who you can find in the list of fastestlaps.com) and they therefore have the benefit of being comparable to each other.
