Agreed and I had the same reaction to GBM in person. Did not care for it in sunlight at all. Chalk looks even worse. But I'm beginning to believe that Porsche could take some really yellow urine, spray it on a car and call it Streak Yellow and the Porsche community would go gaga over it.

When I first laid I eyes on a fashion grey gt3, I was in love. 10 minutes later I thought it looked kind of weird. Another 10 min later I was in love again. I think it all had to do with the angle of the sun. I felt the same way today with the chalk sample, albeit with the showroom light angle.

I went and looked at the GBM again in person today on a 4S with platinum color wheels. I was also able to look at a standard white RS, standard white GT3, and two 911R's in GT Silver with differing color stripes all together with the GBM 4S. While I still like the GBM, I'm not sure I would love it on a GT3 like I first thought. While it is close to McLaren's Chicane Grey, I just am not completely sold that it would work on the GT3 like it seems to on a 675LT. I'm now leaning toward GT Silver unless I luck out with with a PTS. I do like the smoky hues of GT Silver and how easy to try different graphics on. I don't see myself getting tired of such a classic color.

In the pic above I actually like the GBM colour shade but I much rather it be solid colour (non-metallic).

At my dealership, the SAs refer to GBM as Concrete Blue, which I think is very accurate.

.
IMO, CWM is luxury, plain white is sporty. On a 991 cab with a luxor beige interior, CWM fits perfectly. On a proper sports car, particularly with a black interior, plain white is much better. Just my opinion. Color is personal.

Haha wow, sorry...uploaded the pic via phone and accidentally grabbed the one with the 4 911Rs (three GT Silver and one standard white) instead of the one with the white GT3 and the 3 GT Silver 911Rs!

Can you also share the one with 3 Rs and 1 GT3?

My GT4 was standard white, and wished I woulda gotten CWM. Even with much more sharp angles, the standard white just doesn't show the curves of the car. This is even moreso with the 911. I think the GT3 just needs metallic colors to showcase it's hips...it doesn't have the sharp creases like a GT4.

I love the bright colors, but I have been leaning toward the body-in-white motorsport looks these days. The car will also be getting a set of BBS E88's which literally transform how a white GT3 looks. The new car is much more aggressive with tasteful black accents, and E88's will look even better on the new car. Will order a set of black stock wheels just for contrast to E88's. That's my plan.

I think white cars do benefit from graphics/decals, but I don't like numbers or words, just stripes. I only really like side decals. This is kinda what I was thinking, as how to dress of the CWM car. Interior would be the red-stiched to compliment everything.

The stripe could be grey, or black, or red. Just a pop of color.

I was at my dealer yesterday and saw both GBM and Miami. GBM is definitely out of the equation for me and Miami is questionable. I really hope I get lucky with a PTS slot or it may be another RY.
