Let's not exaggerate here. It's not "lying"... It's extreme fluffing silly.

So it all about the engine guys, he goes on to say the air take features a twin flap system like the 4.0 997 GT3 RS, which greatly influences torque low down.

Higher Revs, more Torque, this is the car to have, or so will be the 991.2 GT3 RS, get your orders in now !!
I liked that he mentioned the flap parts being ingested in older designs....there were a few 4.0 997.2RSs that choked on them IIRC.

One of APs greatest assets is that he loves these cars.
He is one of us. A lot of heart in his job. When they let him loose he creates wonders for us car addicts.
If anything he is held back from creating what he wants. More and more politics in today's car business.
That's why the 997rs 4.0 is so special. It's built with 100% passion.

Do you need shipping address? Cup center console, no carpets and a standing single wiper is my spec.

In for group-buy European storage, CS, radio delete and no backup camera.

The number of guys here that can extract 10/10ths from any contemporary GT3 variant I can count on one hand. For the rest they can't even fully tap what they have. I sure as hell can't. It's all bragging rights.

I don't chase the fastest 0-60 or what can rev 400 rpms higher or the next fastest at the Ring. I buy what I love. It has to stir my soul in looks, presence, performance, it's historical roots.

Love my RS. Not sure I will give it up for the 2RS. We will see.
How about the .2 3rs. I wouldn't give up my .1rs for a .2gt3 but assume i will got this newly spotted beast.

Agreed. We all have our weakenesses.

Likely we won't see this offered for sale until 2019. Surprised they started the .2GT3RS before the new .2GT3 even hit the show rooms or the new 2RS too.

Seems like they are going to offer cross GT shopping in the show room. Has that ever happened before?

Agree strange they leak new 3RS before first Gt3 even delivered or 2/2rs even announced. Takes some thunder away from new Gt3. A .2gt3, new 3rs and some kind of gt2 all at the same time seems to canabalize some demand? Regardless, nice to have choices. I'll prob pass on 2rs knowing this is around the corner.

QUANTUM LEAP IN ENGINE....
so the next GT3 has nuclear propulsion jet engine? short of that, there is no quantum leap. internal combustion is internal combustion.... AP let's not get too excited here you might have heart attack at your age.

Strange though. While a lot o guys may buy .2GT3 drive off the lot and bring back in in one year to trade in this will put a lot of guys off to wait. I know if I were ordering a new .2GT3 right now my reaction would be "WTF". I'd wait.

Also now rethinking 2RS.

They made no attempt to camouflage it either. Odd. Seemed like a quickie rear quarter change on .2

It will have to offer more than just 25hp more to make me trade in.

Likely not a 4.2. They are not racing a 4.2. Maybe 535hp, active aero and LE?

Damn they got me again..

Been there, done that. Sold RS too early, couldn't wait, bought GT3, sold for next RS. And so it goes.

Listen to Mooty. He may wear funny shoes and be hopped up on Coke but he smart.
