Default Saw a 991 GT3RS at the local dealer today

I was out parts shopping for a maintenance day and say that the local dealer has a 991 GT3RS sitting on the showroom floor, not sold.

Compared to my other (older) 911s I found the car to be massive. It just seemed very long and wide. These seats and interior were nice, if a bit too fancy for a track car. I actually track my older GT3 so maybe that's different from most of the buyers of these cars.

I thought that these cars were all spoken for? Anyways car is in Burlingame if anyone interested. No affiliation just sharing for the community.

This car was ordered by the dealership owner but decided to put it up for sale.
Great car but unfortunately does not have the PCCB option.

I'm sure they are probably asking $50k+ over MSRP for it.

Maybe, didn't ask about price.

If a buyer actually tracked theirs I doubt that they would want pccb.

Fight on!

Price - hopefully not that much of a premium. I bought one today and did better than that (but not MSRP unfortunately).

PCCB - I'm with you. I track and am glad mine doesn't have them.

I got offered that car a few weeks ago. There is a premium on it, but I'm not sure how much.

SC has a similar car with platinum satin wheels and PCCB for the low, low buy it now price of $295k.

I was offered a lava orange RS for nearly 100k over MSRP 3-4 months ago. Same car now "only" 50K over. Still laughable. The RS is a great car no question, but at 250K and above the competition is very strong. There is no way I would choose the RS over a 650s or even over a 458. You can argue about how great track car the RS is but with all honesty, a mazda MX-5 is just as much fun if not more. Just one opinion.

I was kidding. But the details (generally) are in the other thread. The only important detail I suppose is that on Wednesday I pick up an RS.

Back in 2011 when I was looking for a Porsche and prices were reasonable I really wanted and loved the specs of the 997 GT3 RS then I saw how big they were relative to city streets/parking spaces and went for the 993 Turbo instead.
