Fight on!
In Europe - my guess is that only 20% of the GT3 RS that sees the track has PCCB, 80% is having steel rotors.

Unhappy

Suncoast has a GT silver RS with 454 miles; asking $254,995. Owner passed away.

Hopefully he's not looking for a 95K market adjustment one.

It's not a good deal. It's a terrible deal.

It's also just the ask. The real price that would get that car bought it between $50k and $75k.

They've sold a number of RS's at solid premiums, which I think is why they're holding the line on this one, for now. Lot's of money in the neighborhood with the market doing what it's doing right now.

Reminds me of seeing a trio of cars at BMW of SF in 2000. There was an E46M3 and E39M5 each with a $50k market adjustment and a Z8 +$125k.

The CA market is still one of the strongest in the US. Even now, buying an RS at MSRP is fantasy here.

They previously had a Lava and and Ultraviolet in (around 6 months ago). The premium they were asking then was $150K.

What does pee me off is these asks are not even close to what they are prepared to trade at - its just chancing. The above cars were sold at $80 over i am told.

They have a white one coming in which I opened the bid at +$35K, and they rejected out of hand. I was hoping to wear them down from that of course, but no dice.

The silver car is not a colour/spec for me, but I think you are right - they will wait until +$50k over comes there way.

Welcome to silicon valley.

Here you have it. More proof there is a sea of RS's out there. So many mark ups are going through the roof. Some 918 owner on another thread who knows how the market works said RS/s are selling for MSRP.

I guess he is a little off. Hmmm.

My bet is .2 GT3 with mt will affect the R premium more than the RS. RS is RS and there will still be enough differences between the RS and .2GT3.

R, not so much unless "hounds tooth" is a must have for you.

The simple answer is to embrace depreciation. Double down on depreciation if fact. Rack up the miles on the RS and thumb your nose at the collectors and speculators.
