Default RS or Wait for .2 GT3

All,

I've been offered a brand new RS with an MSRP of $190K for $225K. Guy backed out of the deal - car is inbound. Spec is basically what I would have ordered with a few more bells and whistles. But it has LWB and iron brakes which is exactly what I'd want.

Do I pull the trigger or wait on the .2 GT3? I'm very tempted. Please talk me in our out of this.

Thanks.
Tim

Buy the RS. An RS is an RS and I would always take one over a GT3

You guys aren't helping!! Urrg.

If it helps - I would spec a new GT3 as a PDK anyway. I love PDK.

RS if you are ok with the color, price and prefer PDK. You will have full new car warranty and the latest engine updates. Only reasons I could see to wait for a .2 GT3 would be MT if you wanted that and if it's an option, or PTS if available, or ED.

I offered to buy it if they can do something reasonable on my car. We'll see.

Depends what you like. I have no interest in the RS(no offense Gentleman). I have passed on one at MSRP. Not crazy about the Wing and I think the GT3 is a prettier car. But - if you do not think you can get a .2 GT3 at MSRP nor on a list or promised one - then take the opportunity to grab the RS that is in front of you

Get the RS.
A bird in the hand and all.
Who knows what the next GT3 will be like? (except maybe the cleaning lady)

Not saying the RS isn't a great choice, but I think we all here know (almost exactly) what the next GT3 will be like (and it will be sweet for quite a bit less money than this particular RS).
