MSRP for CA is dead, dead, dead. Give up now. Unless you buy a old model Panamera off the lot for an allocation, you will not ever, ever, ever get MSRP. Guarantee allocations will go for at least $20-55K over and dealer specced 6 speeds for $15-20K over. There is too much money in Cali right now. For the right/hot thing Californians will pay a big *** premium.

I'm just hoping to have the opportunity to make that decision with my local dealer. They know I want a car and my SA is going to try to get me one. If the price is too high, I'll just buy something else.

Nashville has been clear with me - they will give me an allocation but will charge a premium based on the prevailing market conditions. I accept that because I want a car and want the ability to spec it to my liking. As I've said before if the combination of the MSRP and premium is such that it pushes close to a used .1 RS then maybe I'll just do that.
Here's what I know - the 991 GT3 is an awesome car. I love driving it and tracking it. I highly doubt I'll regret getting a .2 GT3 nor will the dealer shenanigans ruin the experience for me.

"Extreme right" that's funny. The positions held by the right today are to the left of the left's positions 20 years ago. Is that what they call "progress?"

I'm not soliciting opinions on trump, I'm honestly curious how actual Canadians feel about Trudeau.

Hey well now that I am a dealer I can say my biggest issue is going to be fulfilling all the order we have. I will sell all the new cars at msrp.
I will say that if I sell at msrp and someone flips it out to someone else I will remove them from my future allocations as I want to deal with people who are at least loyal enough to let me buy the cars back, CPO them and make someone else happy.
What we need are local and semi local people to plop in a spec, and I build it internally and wait.
My store is very small but I am ambitious and I already have been compiling a list of guys for GT3/RS/2/2rs/4/4rs

In response about Trudeau, he seems to be liked so far but still somewhat early in his tenure. Unless he makes any dramatic changes, he'll survive. His father (Pierre) was generally liked and I think people keep that in the back of their minds, atleast the older generation. So far, I can live with him and really don't envision him causing any major disruption. Something I can't say about your guy.
