Suite tkts are sold out. Do agree that tent by turn one had its charm but current arrangement is a pretty classy. Food was better several years ago when the tent was by the infield road. Anyway last year food was better than acceptable IMHO. The big imponderable is the weather. I recall about two or three years ago speeding through the infield road on the P golf cart shuttle in about 40° degree weather. For a FL resident that was brutal. Look forward seeing you guys there. Maybe we should all wear name tags with the RL handles.

Maybe a hotel in Daytona could be late BUT try hotels in Deland. Deland is about 7-10 mins from the raceway going west. Various hotels in the area, including some right off SR 92 which is a straight shot to the track.
Now the real fun of the PCA corral is to sleep in you own car. I have done it many times and it is a blast. If you decide to do it, pay close attention to the forecast and bring appropriate gear. You should expect another 25-40 hardcore P enthusiasts sleeping in the cars, all parked right against the track rail. In past years PCA has provided some degree of security, although there are always some hell raisers in the area and our cars are magnets.

I'll be there with RS. Staying with my parents in Ormond. Also buddy will be there with 73 R-Gruppe orange monster that was on cover of Excellence!

Thanks for the info.....planning for next year. Was wondering if sleeping in the car was an option. For sure would do that for Sat night, maybe Friday night. Thursday night would be a bit much. :P

Do what I do. when you're tired just meander around infield knocking on RV doors until someone allows you in to crash for night.......be careful and make sure you don't knock on wrong one though some of the team drivers get pissy if you wake them during naps! ha ha

I've got an RV setup inside of Nascar 2 where the Rolex cars enter the banking. People are more than welcome to come by and talk cars. We'll have 4-6 TVs outside and a fire if it's cold. Bought a 5 min walk from the Pcar corral.

Regretfully I understand that both tickets have been sold out. You can certainly walk into the PCA corral but those tickets were sold out by July. You may be able to hawk one of the PCA parking tickets off someone that leaves on Saturday and will not come back on Sunday. The Porsche suites are probably impossible to obtain at this stage, but try Porsche Motorsports in Atlanta.

I have a buddy who can't go and just dropped out - there will be some attrition last minute of course.

Sebring is on the list, sadly working over that weekend this year.
"around infield knocking on RV doors until someone allows you in to crash for night." Now thats an entertaining idea, cant see myself doing it but entertaining none the less.
