all fine.

based on whoopsy screenshot:
90° would be not ok.
but 180° (which it was/had to be turned.?) is ok.

does someone has good pics of the RSR engine?
how different is it compared to the 991.1GT3RS?
in terms of packaging. (intake, pully drive, alternator,...)
Porsche hasn't release any, and no one has captured any good ones either.

Unless they have changed a long-standing tradition, I expect the RSR motor to have 6 individual throttles on the intake, rather than just one (as in the Cup and road cars).

This doesn't show the engine but does show where it isn't.

It used to be GT3RS and GT2RS but with everything and everybody going Hybrid TT, etc there just is no room for a slow RS. Well, there is but it's called R..
Your logic makes sense, but at least the 911R isn't too slow. It just narrowly beat the 991 GT3 (but 0.6s slower than RS) at Hockenheim according to this:

That's a really good video. The driver is very straight talking. It comes across as him showing all the improvements that genuinely help him race rather than marketing spin. Also: what an amazing and beautiful car!

However on the other hand, I've been dreaming of this car since graduating college 9 years ago and if don't selfishly pull the trigger now, I probably never will
Interesting dilemma. It has crossed my mind because of seats and also lack of time. I have a 14 month old and last year I drove my 911 maybe 1500-2000kms. Too busy with new family and I don't drive it to work. Didn't even get to wash it once a week!!

HOWEVER.....I plan to add to the stable should I get a .2 allocation. Live once and it'll be great times when I do take it out. Good enough for me. At least that's what I tell myself. I don't think the idea has sunk in with the wife.

So that means anyone not at the top end of a dealer list won't get one until 2019, if at all. F that. I'll spend my money elsewhere if that's the case.

So what freaking GT car/s will Porsche sell in 2017? The GT department going on a year long vacation or something? What are they gonna show us in Geneva...the GTS and some Panny Piggy?

Remember CAlexio's hierarchy of cleaning ladies. This source is more one of these:

I beg to differ. I have a confirmed build slot of July. Car will be in my hands early August. Details will be released very, very soon. In the next couple of weeks.

Me too. Dealer confirmed in writing car will be presented at Geneva and my car will arrive in November with current info. Also dealer (well respected here) mentioned 4.0 L when I placed my deposit 1 year ago.

Regarding 991.2Gt3
I got info update from my source. I earlier stated configurable 21 February, now the general info in my country says we will not know anything (if not leaks) before 7th of Geneve, the car will be configurable online same day as world launch.
