Incoming UV RS - arrival just pushed back from 2-3 to 2-10-17.
Latest intel: enters production (V260) 12-9-16 but we'll see what happens. They have a ton of time built in for delays so I'm expecting it'll arrive late Jan. Doesn't matter - it'll sit until the snow melts!

Oh - and our dealer is one of the "good ones": MSRP (Sewickley Porsche)

After 3 caymans and a Panamera it's our fifth Porsche and first 911! We'll keep the Agate GT4 (just sold the yellow GT4).

Asked the dealer about a build slot a while back and they said probably never gonna happen. I think we are their fourth RS (and last). Pretty sure they had to take a 2016 Panamera along with the RS build slot.

Looking forward to the 911 and RS experience!

For me the UV is = PTS! (Almost), and yes we have a GREAT dealer. Super nice guys, and like a second family. They support our local PCA in a big way at the track and as a sponsor.

Thanks Chris. I plan to track the GT4 although I'll get the RS on track a few times because....well....I've GOT to experience it "in anger".

I'm still learning the GT4, and the RS (for me) would be overkill on a track. I'm just not that fast (it's my overly active instinct not to die ) - and I might graduate to the RS as a primary track car at some point - but for now I'll work on driving my GT4 faster/smoother/better and closer to the limit (mine and the car's). Especially having lost most of this season to concussion recovery - I'm just looking forward to truly experiencing the GT4 in spring, and hoping to be back to 100% by then (I'm close but not there yet)

Me - in an RS - on track, is like giving me an AR15 when a Smith & Wesson revolver would do the job

Love the Porsche Sewickley guys. Purchased my GTS and a X5M from them over the past 2 years. Great deals. Hopefully they can find me a .2 GT3 next year! I'm a customer for life.
