991 GT3 RS production numbers?
#61
A lot of cars from China were reallocated due to th economy so some dealers got extra allocations. Spoke to my dealer last week about xtra inventory popping up.

Macca, thanks for the incredible info/intel. 4500 seems to be a reasonable number. Personally, I'm glad for the extra allocations because I got one! With only about 1500 to the USA it's still a rare car, but I won't feel as guilty about abusing it either!

We are all guesstimating. I say around 3000 others 4500 ww. We agree about 1500 in U.S./Canada end of day.
Like your hairdresser only PAG knows for sure.

Yes we are using logic and feedback from RL members in the know based in Markets around the world to build up a picture as accurately as we can on production numbers to date. The other thread had some good input also. I think we can feel safe the number is closer to 4500 than the 7500 or 9000 earlier offered but I guess it will be some time, possibly years before we know for sure.
As for 3000. We already have fairly accurate/reliable data for USA/Canada, UK, Japan, NZ&Au, HK, Taiwan, Singapore and Germany.
Those alone add up to 3000 units and production hasn't ceased yet. The worlds a big place and according to PAG this car was exported to over 50 markets...

1500 -> Limited
1000 -> Limited Edition
500 - > Very Limited Edition
250 -> Very rare , collectable
Everything above 1500 is nothing and its sadly, but true !

Just enjoy what you have, for what it's worth and in the end you will be happier for it.
There is an RS owner who is winter driving his and parks in my office tower.. I give him 2 thumbs up each time I see him rolling.. Trust me, they are out there and owners are enjoying them.

Carrera GT ranges from 500k to over 1M paint condition miles
Ford GT 230k - 500k
Both cars 10+ years old x2 x3 in value
Cars take time to age - the ones that age well rise in value.
If the GT3RS is the last of NA track purpose they will do well.
Problem with cars rising they tend to sit being owned by feather dusting experts who talk about value vs enjoyment.

Paint miles condition it's not numbers simple supply vs demand.

Based on best info we have there are about 3000 in NA.
I believe the FGT will eventually see values of $750k+ when the Gen III hit the resale market.

The 991RS has similar build numbers as 993tt had back in mid 90s.
That was the last of the aircooled cars and are selling around MSRP in today's market.
Gives a reference point on what to expect in terms of value.

Production really jumped up in the last few days. I counted 15 new cars for Saturday and Monday. All US, 7 white. I'm assuming they are working a Saturday shift although I can't say for certain. Could be some Friday cars. I haven't seen that many new North American RS's since 2015.

I'm just excited to get my 1 of 2500-6000 in a couple weeks. Mine isn't demand the last to roll off the line, but I'm guessing if they hadn't extended production I wouldn't have one, because I wasn't chasing the insane-o mark-up game early on. So, I'm glad it wasn't as limited as first assumed. And I never thought it would be limited because Porsche is predictable and they typically build close to as many cars as they can sell unless there's a numbered plaque on the dash.
Not sure FGT is a comparable marker. The 991.1gt3RS is one of a LOT of 911s and RS's for that matter. The FGT is a 1-off generational car. There's not an FGT alternative other than another FGT.
