Anybody done this? If so, what does it entail? I have heard some of the basics but I am interested in knowing more about the actual vehicle delivery aspect. Is there a more thorough delivery procedure than at a dealer? Some instructor laps in one of their cars? etc. Anything I can request? Any info appreciated!

PS. I have seen the page on the Porsche site...

did it last week it was awesome, a tour of the facility, you meet your car, track time in a reg 911 then an RS then lunch, its like going to the Leipzig delivery without the factory tour or plane ride

Do they then ship car home to your local dealer, or do you have to get it home from pec yourself?

u drive it home, or they can ship it to you after, but you have to pay additional shipping, if your in cali, wait for the LA ctr to open and do it there. I saw Magnus was there on facebook and he did it day before I picked her up, makes my car all the more special

Congrats dark knight. What color is it? Stunning! I see from other posts it's probably UV - but in that photo it looks Marina Blue or some other PTS color. Whatever it is - I LUV IT!

its the UV, the lighting makes the color look different from light to dark
