Wingless RS till black uprights come in
#48
Bit OT, but have been wondering if making it so easy to just screw off the wing blade makes it an easy target for theft. Have not tried to do this myself (screwing it off, not stealing one) but is there any form of protection against it?

I like the look a lot...price is a bit steep for some winglets, though...

Had mine wingless for a short couple of weeks... Car is less stable above 80mph
Also very high risk of damaging the insert which is glued onto the CF wing..
Looks like that happened in the above UV case in one of the screw (the front one)...As you can see from above pics, the thread insert for the left front screw came off while the other two stayed secured to the CF. Tapping a bigger insert into the CF wing is a headache and wing has a significant load at speed. This is not a routinely performable mod, i.e. put wing on take it off.. luck of the draw as to whether the insert (one or more) get destroyed during unscrewing...

NIce gt2rs without wing but I wouldn't take it over 80mph let alone anywhere close to its intended top speed.
Removing wing unbalances aerodynamics... May be ok in the 911R because of less front downforce but not sure about RS's
