well the 1st deliveries i'm assuming would not be until late 2017, i would guess the .1 gt3 would drop about 10-20k at that point....if history repeats itself the the .2 rs would be available around 2019....but who knows, especially how fast porsche is spitting out replacements

Highly doubtful they'll wait that long. I'm betting it's released as a 2017 model with deliveries in Europe starting Dec-Feb. After that they've got plenty of time to release a .2 RS for 2018/19.

The number of the European dealers were in Leipzig for a product presentation on Friday. I have not yet heard back from my source as to what was presented. I will check with him on Monday but I have not heard anything to confirm that the GT3 will be announced in Paris. Until then, I am very sceptical of this thread.

If the debut is really October 1st (two weeks from today), we should see an official press release with specs even sooner - sure hope this is true (was expecting to wait til March for Geneva)...

states that it is likely and will not be a turbo and a shared manual transmission with the 911r is likely too

Agree

I'm very skeptical of anything fxz says. He had no credibility as he's always posting random crazy theories he personally thought up the day before.

Oh well, another good reason to start up a new thread.

So in two weeks if this does not pan out, lookout for a Geneva release thread.
