I don't mean to offend Ferrari owners here but it's known that Ferrari performance figures never materialize in the real world.
I'd like to see the source, not the forum referred to above, that confirms such figures. And I can't wait to see YT videos testing the 488 vs the Huracan, 991 turbo, R8+ & 570S. I wouldn't be surprised if the Ferrari ranked low among them.

They need 19secs over the 997.2 GT2 RS. Might be a stretch but we're inching closer with each successive GT release.
What's amazing to me is that these cars are now circulating as fast or faster than most of the late 70's/early 80's sports racers and F1 cars.

Only 7:21 Ring time. Shouldn't it be MUCH faster with Cup 2's and 670hp?

but we also know how it is with Ferraris at the Ring...
first they need their own tank lorry with special fuel, than another software so the transmission temp is not switching into emergency-program after the 2nd lap, other dampers,... what i forgot?
488 do have the same setup in numbers and the same driven axle as the GT2RS will get - but i guess the GT2RS will do it 10-15sek faster and its not mid-engined (also not rear/mid-engined)

Interesting articles in auto motor und sport. GT3RS did 7.30 and GT3 in 7.32.
Temperature delta huge for NA engine and I think the RS had 250km/h speed limit on some straights.
Otherwise GT3RS would be faster than 488 GTB hands down.
Nevertheless the result of 488GTB is pretty poor given its power and weight But I know now that Ferrari are cheaters and nowadays it's just harder and harder for their cars to keep up without their lies.
I think Chris Harris could chime in now, haha
