Default IPE exhaust 1/4 mile 991 gt3

I know there is a lot of hate for IPE on this forum, but I do love how the exhaust sounds. There are no real independent dynos of the exhaust, but here is a 1/4 mile run with the exhaust and stock headers.

Very nice. What was the time/trap speed? Couldn't make it out in the video.

I too really like the IPE sound from the videos as I've never heard live/otherwise.

However, I'm curious about the 'hate' for IPE on this forum (Rennlist).... can you expand? WHY?

oh well that's no good!

Sound is important... but not more important than functionality/power.

Do you really want an exhaust that's made in China?

Wtf? Who cares where it's made as long as quality and function are there. How ignorant.
Let me guess, you don't use iPhones or iPads either cuz they're made in China.
I have a Competition Motorsports exhaust on my RS. Made in the USA but that's not why I chose it.

I could care less where it is made but there have been confirmed reports that this exhaust is poorly made. Some have taken it off after 6 months finding it to already be warping. Quality is so important with the type of mods that endure incredible stress and heats

Guess it depends whether you're in line with the KMT, or the DPP.

If the former, for all intents and purposes, Taiwan is probably China.
