It's not as an attractive price as it looks because of the additional fees and charges on top of the hammer price.

Firstly, there is 15% Buyers premium added to the Hammer price. Secondly, a sales tax of 21% is then added to the price.

So let's say the hammer falls at the upper end of the price range. 350,000 euro.

The total price the buyer would pay is: 350,000 + 15% + 21% = 487,000 euro = $550,000. More than double the original price.

Isn't the 21% VAT due whether it's an auction or you purchase at MSRP from a dealer? So it's only the tax on the incremental increase over MSRP that's more.

The 15% buyers premium adds a Good amount...and any amount someone is willing to pay over MSRP to get the R will probably be a decent amount.
