Suppose the choice between will allow people to make that choice between a fun manual road going gt car with wing and bit of drama and those who want a car you can drive straight to the track have fun on the way there and on the track with a killer lap time on pdk...either way, should be lots of happy RL'ers...

Slightly off-topic and a little early but does anybody want to speculate on the re-sale values one year later of a 991.2 GT3? PDK vs 6 speed? Personally I'm dreading the decision in the fall. I too feel the PDK is the perfect transmission for this car. After 20 years of manuals it has been a great change. That said, my damn frugal side starts to kick in and starts leaning towards the manual. Thoughts?

A more interesting question in my opinion is how much, if anything, each will cost.

Will the PDK be the standard transmission? Or the MT?

Will the PDK be an extra charge option? Or the MT?

Both no-cost?

Great point. The delta (if any) between the two at purchase should be no concern. Maybe availability? I would also assume that secondary buyers may be split when it comes to buying. Although all of the manual talk these days has me wondering. Shouldn't be making these decisions on re-sale anyway right?

I heard no-cost option on manual, but hoping it's less than PDK. I think you need to buy what you want and not worry about resale. I bet that some people with insist on one of each (like Mooty)

I think pdk should be cheaper than manual. After all, those speccing it are " robbing " themselves from experiencing a great car. I'd pay more for manual.

Yea, you're probably right! First world Mooty problems! He's going to run out of "plush bears"

It will be like it is for the rest of the range that offers manual, which is now i guess only the 718 and 911 3.0 engines

Manual is free while pdk you have to pay for. This is how it has always been, so i don't think they will change it

Resale values will heavily depend on availability of new cars.
