Could this be the 991.2 GT3?

I hope that they keep that rear vent between the lights, like on one of the mules.. It Added character and matches the front classic GT vent below the hood. Pity about the turbo.

Some extra footage of the 991.2 GT3 testing at Nurburgring. I suppose some bright spark will still say it sounds like a turbo.

Interesting that it is still sporting the 991.1 body and is yet to appear in its new clothes.

Yes Im still hearing Geneva launch. I dont think you will see any USA customer deliveries until September earliest. RHD deliveries will start to arrive November onwards depending on distance of market from Germany.
Front bumper is definitely GT4'esque. Rear bumper line below lights seems sharper than before. More of a chiseled angular look all round..

Very likely 991.2 gt3 will have the 4.0l engine. No overlap in production between 991.1rs and the obvious reason of MT option already hooked up to the 4.0l
in the R strengthens this.

If the 4.0 comes true it will make me feel better about parting with my .1 GT3 and getting the .2 GT3 as there will be enough upgrades to justify the purchase as I am a PDK guy. The end game for me is an RS. If the delta between the .1 and .2 was only cosmetic I may just hold and continue to drive the .1. We'll see..

I was wondering last night if they will use the 911R CF front wings on this GT3. Bit pricey to replace but would save 4-5lb. Apart from removing some interior door furniture and sound deadening, I cant really see how they will save any noticeable weight on the PDK 991.2 GT3 as it appears to use same wing and wheels etc.
I can understand on the manual may be a saving of 60-80lb with mechanical diff.
Interestingly the last few RS weighed locally here have been heavier than the GT3. Seems Porsche used a non air con, non stereo version with PCCB and bucket seats when they were getting benchmark weights for the 991 GT3RS vs a GT3 with Radio, Aircon. Im wondering if they will bring back the air con and radio delete option for the the GT3 like they have done on the 911R. With MT this means 80-100lb would be achievable.

Indeed if you look closely at the 3036 car you can see that the tail is exactly as shown in the model on the Dutch website a week or so back. The vent between the tail lights is gone and you can also just see the new larger ram air vents under the wing. The rear valence/diffuser area is quite different too. I like!
