You won't know what it will do until you try. Need some wind tunnel time. I think the diffuser would reduce lift without much extra drag like increasing the wing angle would?
However I think the diffuser will be a long time coming from parts if they even sell it without an R vin.

What's the projected price of this piece? I have a Werks1 carbon diffusor on my 997TT. Looks plain gorgeous. I suspect if Porsche wants a pretty penny for this 911R piece, Champion and do one under the Werks1 line?

I wonder if it might be possible to just add these four bits (highlighted in purple) to the existing cover. Looks like they just widened the area on either side and added a four little fins.

My ACR sits much lower than a 911R and has a much bigger diffuser. I don't think this will cause many issues unless people are jumping their cars in rallycross
