For those who are using aftermarket rotors on the track, how are they holding up?

*How many days are you getting out of them and what are you using? Thanks!

13 days so far and holding up well. I started a thread about the ridge in the middle of my AP rotors but it was clarified by AP Racing that this is normal.

Thanks for the info!

Happy to hear in-progress reports of partially used rotors as well.

We strictly use Brembo Racing rotors (not the same at all like OEM) with the Brembo Pads and Brembo Racing fluid, and quite frankly all of our clients are amazed at how long and well they last. IMHO, best brakes hands down.

PM if you have any questions or comments.

after 4 days my AP rotors look almost like new. My last set of oem rotors wore to thickness limit in 9 days, but I used different pads then so not apples to apples, but I'm still happy with AP

For 991 GT3 and 981 GT4 applications we recommend AP 2 piece rotors to all our customers . The get in and replacement costs are better than Brembo and they last as long or longer than Brembo.
For pads we recommend Ferodo DS1.11 or PFC 11 compound depending on your intended use.
Any questions about special Rennlist pricing etc. shoot me a PM
Or email. MSRP pricing is on our website.

We strictly recommend & use on our own vehicles 1 aftermarket brake brand: BREMBO.

Brembo Racing offers 2 piece rotors which last longer and perform better than any of the brands mentioned in this poll. Interesting that Brembo wasnt included on the poll. The Brembo Racing rotors are a significant upgrade over the stock rotors.

The Brembo Racing rotors can also be paired w various Race Technologies (Brembo North America) Pads depending on compound needed for a variety of race requirments.

If you want to run the best there really is only 1 choice....

We offer special package deals for Rennlisters.

Please PM if you have any questions or comments.

Both of our in-house cars run Brembo components, the Brembo Rotor and Pad upgrade on our 991 GT3 and new GT4. With our extensive motorsport experience, Brembo is by far the leader in braking technology with superior longevity and performance........and we practice what we preach.

We test all our products on the track....where proof is in the pudding!

All we use and sell is Brembo for our race applications. They simply out-perform anything else we have tested. Thermal capabilities, longevity, product support of the Brembo/Race Technologies is by far the best in the business.

Cheaper stuff out there for sure. But you get what you pay for.

As of right now i don't know anyone else other than Race Technologies that has a true long lasting endurance pad that they sell with a plug and play disc kit for the GT4. I have also driven the 991 race car that we built that had the Brembo discs with the Race Technologies pads and i can't say enough about the longevity of the pads AND how kind they are to the rotor surface. The disc life on those assemblies was great and I hope to use their discs more in the future but as we are about to get ready to run a 6 hour endurance event at Sebring, I am sourcing the Race Technologies endurance pads because we ran them last year with much success and they share a lot of information with top level teams that race Caymans and 911s. It's one of the only pads to last all 12 hours at Sebring on a Cup car and we ran them in the 24 hour as well on the Cayman.

It is brembo products from race technologies for me all the way. They really stand behind their product.

We ran the brembo calipers, pads and rotors on both my cup car and cayman GTB1.

Been running them for years and the support we get is amazing.

We ran the winterfest 6 hour with both cars in the last 2 years with no issues, no fade, no knock back, and won our class.

Cant beat that.
