There's a few different packages with the GT350 -mostly the changes come in level of suspension and track cooling. All the cars get the Flat Plane Crank V8.

Base - No MagnaRide / No tech. Michelin PSS ($49k)

Tech Option: Nav/Sync with MagnaRide suspension. Michelin PSS ($57k)

Track Option: Oil/differential/trans cooling / Alcantara Recaros / MagnaRide suspension. Michelin PSS (305 rear / 295 front) ($56k)

R Option: Same as track option and adds Carbon fiber wheels, tuned Magnaride, no backseats, Carbon fiber rear wing, larger front splitter. Michelin Sport Cups II (315 rear, 305 front), Extremely limited option 500 total made. ($63k)

Yes correct and if an R becomes available the ADM's are ridiculously high... I got lucky and snagged a 2015 Track Pkg back in July (137 units made for 2015 which were lottery'd out to dealerships) and took delivery on Nov 12th. I simply can't put into enough words how amazing this car performs... the superb balance, the great handling, the almighty braking, the big power at 3k and beyond... and it revs to the moon! Plus the sound... that incredible FPC sound alone is worth the price of admission!

I think it's covered above for you Chris. Basically engine is the same but slightly lower weight on base R. Suspension tuning different, carbon wheels, and aero different.

I stopped by my local ford dealer this weekend just to look at the one they had on the lot. It was already sold but they are asking 20k over msrp for them, said they got it for the one they had and will look for that for any orders. They also seemed to indicate that they have 17 mustang slots that could be put in for gt350's delivery next summer. Has anyone else seen this markup, seems like you have to be out of your mind to pay 20k over on a car that costs in this case under 60k. These are just the regular models they were talking about.

In central Florida they are selling at $10k markup at the moment.

I checked my local dealer in Milford and was quoted $20k over. Passed and told him I'd take one at MSRP in the future.

I got my name on the next allocation from my Ford dealer @msrp. Would like to hear some real owner feedback on how it carries its weight and if it holds up for a full track weekend without overheating.

Still hopeful to get a few laps in the gt350. Love the sound of that engine.
I'm trying, would love a few laps in 350 track pack.

That of course is the big question. But at that price I'll try.

The ADM'S won't last long there building 5,000+ GT350's for 2016 and if you've seen the comparisons between the 16 SS Camaro and the GT350 the Camaro is real close in performance for way less money. The SS should be compared to the GT mustang not the GT350. When the 17 ZL1 Camaro arrives with 640+HP it will destroy the GT350R. I've driven a 16 GT350 and though it sounded good in sport mode but wasn't overly impressed with it otherwise.

The older, now classic, Mustangs always moved me. The styling over the last 15 years or so has never interested me. They do fill a nice gap for their price level which is good for Ford and America. I hope the car lives up to the hype but I would opt for the Vette which may not be too far off in pricing
