Streetking; Ctek makes a cigarette lighter adapter for trickle charge. Makes it easy to close the door on the thin cable instead of running it through the trunk.

Good point for Ctek chargers. I use to leave the window cracked open a bit but I found you can just close the door on the cable to the cigarette lighter adaptor, it will pinch the cable ever so slightly, but hardly noticeable. This way it will not give any little critter a chance to get in via the window opening.

^ curious, how often do you guys drive your cars. if i drive it once every 6 weeks, i never had issues firing it up. i have about 10 cars, not all p cars. but i have NO trickle chargers or battery maintainer etc. i hate wires hanging out of cars. doesn't look right.

I try to drive mine at least once a week but some times this dose not always happen ,,,,,,,,,I run a trickle charger on mine just as a battery maintainers ,,,,,,,I find this a good way to get the most out of the battery life ...

On good batteries, w P and F cars and without trickle chargers, if I can go on a serious run every 6-8 weeks for each car, no issues. Beyond that, a roll of the dice.

On older batteries, 4 weeks would be pushing my luck.

Agree here, but I take it out probably 2 -3 times a week except obviously during the winter when the charger is on permanently.

Same, I've had cars site for 2-3 months and they always started right up. I have a trickle charger, but I never have to use it.

About twice a month except when traveling. At which time I hook up the trickle chargers.
