Yesterday tourist driving was postponed for two hours. I was hoping for a Koenigsegg record attempt.

It turned out to be Manthey Racing doing some tests before the Nürburgring 24H

I woke up to the nice sound of these cars starting up and leaving the old pits at T13.

Listen to them lapping for an hour then I went down to the end of the long straight:

Btw, did you fix your rubber issues?
A Porsche mechanic told me that they need to re-adjust ride-height and geometry on the RS before the client take his car!

Rubbing: PZ Koblenz is going to fix it. I hope it is done until the 10th so I can test it properly.

One other Rennlisters is Lar (Chromium24) whom I've had the pleasure of hanging out with in CA when I drove all CA tracks May/June 2014 with my 964. Should be doing that again next summer.

Lar will be picking up his GT4 and be at the Ring until June 12th before continuing to Spa and Lemans

I guess it was the 4th of May. I saw one of my groups car in your pictures (The RS and the Volvo picture from Brünchen)
IIt looks like you where there during final exams of Scuderia Hanseat.
I got 10/10p in Phlanzgarten and 9 in Brünchen.

I know that the cup cars speed is about 270 there. I guess this is faster.

The commitment when he is going downhill into the compression and then uphill into the chicane with wot is impressive and partly scary.

I've tried the polarizing filter now and it reduces the reflections in the windscreen rather well:

I just wished that the filter would hold in place better. It is magnetic and the last thing that happened was that I snapped the iphone into place and the filter flew away. Probably it ended up beneath the fire extinguisher Havn't had time to locate it.

There are other filters as well but this was the one i guessed would work with my mount for the phone.

If you find something even better let us know!
