according to this months excellence they are different buckets, so anyone know what dimensions are different? are GT4 LWBs different could we mix/match to custom fit body size?

IIRC the 918 LWBs came in a few varieties, including 2 different padding options (racing = firmer narrower padding??); plus fireproof, leather and alcantara, and all leather versions.

Three Wheelin'
We have discussed before....the actual shell section of seat I am told are identical ....Porsche considers them different because the lower frames and subframes are different and seat is mounted at slightly different angle within the seat frame assembly.

I have both. For all intents and purposes the chairs are the same, the differences are basically cosmetic.
The 918 chairs have 2 little cutout on the back, and missing that little cushion below the headrest.
My 918 has the normal fit and it fits the same as on my RS. The LWB on the RS is a little bit more reclined, but this is basically due to the firewall behind the seats of the 918, Porsche had to mount them that upright. The RS's mounting base has them raked on the other hand.

He is checking out the photo book made by Porsche for my 918 which he just signed. He is looking at the picture of his signature on my dash at that moment.
Anyway, the firmer padding(tight fit) that's option on the 918 is not a regular selectable option on the GT3/RS/GT4, it will need to go through Exclusive.

Not sure about that part.
But he did went out with the gang on the 918 roadshows to explain the car to buyers and prospective buyers.
He doesn't always hang around the factory when buyers go visit the line, and towards the second half of the production period he got promoted out of the 918 program.
