I'm thinking of getting alcantara instead of leather for my sunvisors. I know folks have removed the stickers with isopropyl alcohol, but has anyone tried it with alcantara?

When the Alcantara sun visors were available on some .2 997 gt3 models (and even as a special request on this Cayman R), we read reports that the warning labels were EASIER to remove from the alcantara visors than the plastic or optional leather ones!



Suggest you ask over at the 997 gt3 forum what they used to remove them!

You can save yourself some work and simply cover it with this more appropriate warning label that should have been OEM.
