Default Aftermarket Seats

Has anyone out there put aftermarket seats I their 991? I read a lot about LWB's but not much on other brands. If anyone out there has any thoughts please share and post some pics as well if you have because its never 100% about utility with something as good looking as a GT3.

We have done installs using a few different Sparcos and Sabelt seats. I Will have a thread up soon with our new seat bases and recent in-shop install.

Here are two Sparco pro ADV's mounted with our own seat mounting kit. Between having a high center console and the door panel protruding into the cabin, fitting seats in these cars isn't the easiest task and other alternatives on the market cannot provide the amount of adjustment this setup can offer.

Default Aftermarket Seats

Those are nice seats. Question, is it legal to drive on the street with those high wings? I'm thinking the drive to and from the track.

Very nice looking seats and installation. My concern is regarding the loss of side airbags and resulting liability and insurance issues for street use.

Are those sparcos completely fixed, or what kind of adjustability do you get with them?

I've grown to like it.

A little red brightens up an otherwise somewhat austere interior.

In other words, that's code for "waiting for my shop to get the latest OBD software from PNCA."

(Also, as an aside, the computer shows that the other airbags are all fully functional, the light is lit only b/c the thorax bags from the OEM seats are missing. Just FYI, in case anyone was curious.)

Did you move the occupancy sensor over then?
