918 faster than P1, despite P1 having faster tires (Trofeo R).

Imagine 918 with Trofeo R. Probably subtract another second at minimum. Highly highly impressive. Undoubtedly this car left the McLaren people perplexed and flat out scared away the LaFerrari. Quite impressive Porsche. Cheers to you!!

Someone should show this to Chris Harris. Seems you can actually drive a hypercar without behaving like a six-year old!

Love the sound of the 918. Wish p would bring this engine to other models.

Impressive. Kudos to Porsche. And hats off to MT for finding a way to get these two cars on the same track, the same day, with a top level pro driving both. Has McLaren ever published a video of the P1 doing a full lap of the ring?

Ferrari have absolutely no spirit of competition! Childish!

Also notice in the video how much faster the p1 looks from the inside camera view!
The 918 does it simply with no show!

918 = legend

Don't think so.

I think the McLaren philosophy is "We do not want to contribute to the Ring time frenzy". They are a little bit more mature, they think
