Latest available GT3 if you order now?
Is this possible? If there was an allocation, and you found it for 2015 how late can you take it? based on what you guys know?

I don't think anyone really knows. All of the rumors are saying the December/January '14 allocations will be the last round to make way for the RS production. Since thay haven't released any RS info yet, most are assuming they won't start production until '16, so they may do another round of allocations. I think if you want one for sure, you have to get one of those left-over allocations now. You could roll the dice, but then may end up waiting for a few years until a 991.2 variant.
It was very interesting to see another guy have a 991 50th for sale with 4,700 miles at $4,000 below sticker. My similar optioned regular C2S lost $37,000 with almost the same amount of mileage. I wonder if he will get anywhere near what he is asking.

Many dealers still have open (configurable) allocations available, with late Jan or mid Feb delivery dates.

You never know what an individual will get selling one privately but a local dealer had a used one on their lot a couple of months ago that they were asking 119k for, so I am guessing about 20 grand under MSRP?

$20k under? I doubt it. Our own Cyrek had one as a loaner waiting for his GT3. He turned it back in and it sold in 2 days with TEN THOUSAND MILES on it!! I saw the 119K one(Dark grey). Thats the only one I have seen less than MSRP. In the UK they are going for over and here every OTHER one I have seen is at $140k or more and arent Geyser grey which was the most desirable color.
Money I dont think you should have lost that much either. Had you the time to sell it you could have got much more but I know you were pressed for time. If I sell mine it would be private, unless I got a allocation and had to sell it back to the dealer. The last one I saw at Manheim went for $140K for Geyser Grey, 2 months ago? Remember Money was over the barrel alittle bit. His car had the hesitation and at the time he hadnt the time or the stomach for fighting Porsche like the fire motor GT3s did. I believe he had another child on the way, and had just taken delivery of his new BMW Mcar.
Of course we all know it depends on: Selling it yourself? Back to the dealer? Options? Buyers?
Right now people are ordering the GTS's so maybe there aren't as many 50th buyers out there. So it depends as you guys know. Winters coming so maybe the East Coast guys arent looking, who knows.
But I was thinking of getting a GT3 and selling my 50th. I would have to sell it private because I dont want to take the loss at the dealer which we all know is hard to take.
But right now everyone (that I saw, and I have NOT done an any in DEPTH market research) are asking MSRP, but again we all know you can ask what you want and its only worth what someone will pay!

Many? Really? Geez, that isn't what I found when I called around at all. Not even close. Out of dozens of calls, two had changeable allocations with buckets available and they were both for March/April delivery. I took one of them.

Maybe things have changed since then. Or perhaps Southern CA is not representative of the rest of the U.S. when it comes to available allocations.
Who knows.
I just know I have mine and can rest easy at night.
Cheers.

As of 2 weeks ago, 3 different dealers in Southern CA had changeable allocations.

I was told by the Springfield Mo. Dealer the system, if correct shows 26 more cars available as of Wednesday. Not sure if he's right and he said it would be difficult to impossible for him to obtain one of those allocations. Macca might have better info.

hey everybody
have been reading quietely for a while here and just ordered a new GT3 today for delivery in Jan/Feb with normal seats. So at least in Europe its definatively still possible to get a car but my dealer said its getting difficult now and they need to ask special permission from the factory. Whatever that means.
discount to sticker here is mid to high single digits but our markets are clearly different to the US ...
