Porsche Museum and Factory Tour
Hey,
Got a chance today to do the factory tour and visit the museum. It was a great day and got to see dozens of new GT3s today. If you ever get the chance take the time to go Here are a few pics from the museum, however they make you lock up cell phones and cameras before the factory tour.
Test Mule for the 918
Early Panamera concept. I like it better than the final product

Very nice pictures. We did the museum tours of mercedes and Porsche on a sunday two years ago. Then we went on a factory tour on a Monday and mt 007DT there. My GT3 goes into production tomorrow. Too bad they can't/won't paint it a nice orange for Halloween.
Did they start up any of the cars on the top level for the aural effect?

Thank you very much for taking the time to post these. I do agree with your thought on the Panamera. I like the concept better than the production by a large margin!!!

Very nice set of photos. Thanks.
The Panamera just looks like a stretched 911. Had to have its own identity, so it had to deviate from that design to some extent. Also, likely lacked headroom for the rear seat passengers.

Thanks for sharing; looks like you had fun.
I went on the Treffen in '83 to take delivery of a new Carrera Cab. and toured Weissach and the Stuttgart factory. I remember the liter of beer allowed per shift for the factory associates being a pretty good idea.
