Finally got 3 clear laps at Sebring PCA 48hours and finally got my 2.159 :-)

Nice. Your T1 min speed was 3mph faster on your 15 lap vs 16 lap and you stayed virtually flat thru Collier on that lap as well. Too bad about the other car in Bishops because I think you had more there.

I'd love to have a cool morning to myself at Sebring

It takes a lap to get PSI and confidence up :-)
Lap 3 was solid though except Bishop, I haven't studied sector times yet but I know I lost time there.

Hard to say what my TBL is because the tires are cool enough to push the limit for only a couple of laps and it was the only time the last 10 track mornings I got more then 2 laps if you ignore Bishop and lap 2 was already my personal best at 2.165.

If you want it to be a bit more playful it might be worth considering a more normal road tyre. On my 997.2GT3 I tried SuperSports for a session of Donington Park instead of Cup1's and found it a lot more chuckable. The understeer is also more pronounced though.
Lift off oversteer is the same in the 991GT3 as any car, just turn the car into the corner and lift off while at the limit of grip, and it will unsettle the car. The GT3 has such a lot of rear grip that it can take a bit more aggression. That's also where the good old downshift could help, but it's very brutal and can catch you out. It's similar to a dab of handbrake.
Trying any of the above where walls, gravel traps or other cars are included is not recommended by the way
The car is so much better with lesser tire now.
Have PSS instead cup2 and with its narower rear contact patch of PSS now the engine outperfomrs the grip.

So much fun sliding all over. I kinda regret I should have tried this before I order another expensive fun atrack toy to replce the RS.

Well, lets see which one stays or both stay, between 488 spider and road tired RS

Default RS chasing Bimmers down

Here's a goofy video of me chasing and passing a M4 GTS and a prepped M3 at Thermal. The GTS did not seem that fast in the turns but plenty quick in the straights. The GTS is off in the distance starting around the 5 min mark, then I close over the next 1-2 minutes.

M4 GTS' really are pretty slow. Nowhere near a GT3.

GT3's and GT3RS's are great fun. The 675LT is as well I beat my GT3 and GT3RS times in the 675LT. Just for reference the RS hits 135mph on our straight. The 675LT hits 147mph.

well, after snowy session it is clear gt3rs doesnt like to slide sideways at all! It is not my type of car but I will hang on to it anyway just for what it is... the ultimate grip machine

Drifting the GT3 at a Precision event. Lots of fun. Even the club president wanted to have a crack...
