Should have just asked for a GT4 as your gift. That way you could afford to remove your wheels. Have you thought about the CL's yet? It takes more than a simple socket wrench.

About $14k for two front rotors alone. Don't forget to add labour, replacement caliper bolts, etc.:-(

Can't be one to worry about costs if you're gonna drive this car as intended. Buy it. Drive it. Maintain it.

Seriously...

i just don't understand how people buy houses and cars they have no business buying.

If you can't afford $2k for tires you can't afford this car. I mean come on... $2k isn't all that much. I haven't paid less than $1500 for a set of tires in years. It's not $20k.

I was thinking the same thing! I don't buy BMW's or read that forum any longer as it seems there are too many idiots spending their entire paychecks for their car.

mpss is fine for your use.

after a few sets of tires, you wont be shell shocked with $2000 tires.
some of us burn through 2 sets of tires per weekend.

Gosh, there really seems like there are a lot of angry people here. I just wanted tire advice. For the record, just because I didn't actually pay for the car, doesn't mean I didn't earn it or deserve it. My benefactor got it for me because they believed I deserved it for things I had accomplished.

Quick Reply: Over $2000 for a set of tires, are you kidding me?!?!
