Are there any more GT3RS allocations?

I know someone who just ordered one last week (or maybe 2 weeks ago).

I'm not second guessing some of the posts here, but...
My experience is that sometimes these "new orders" or "new allocations" turn out to be previously allocated but still changeable VIP cars, or dealer owner cars, or other customers backing out. PCNA still receiving new allocations? Just don't buy it. No horse in that race now, but my heavy research and polling contacts suggests no new RS allocations.

Hello mrsullivan,
You are correct and absolutely agree. If I remember this correctly, it is in Colorado where the dealership there got hold of the first few 991 GT3RS. That was because the dealership there did sell one of the first few 918 Spyders, thus the first few allocations of the GT3RS. The horses are out of the barn already! LOL.
The 918 Spyder owners are "assured" of hard to get models and as long as the production line is still open, they can order as early or as late they want to.
The "flippers" are simply mincing this word. So these "rumors" of "new allocations" for all intensive purposes are what we would call "late orders" and not new allocations. As the saying goes, "many ways to skin the cat."
The same deal is happening with the soon to be announced 911R. The 918 Spyder owners will get first dibs depending upon if they still have their 918 Spyder and their production number order sequence.
Drive safe,
GT3RS-Fan1

I recently had a dealer tell me there may be a few more allocations in the summer.

FWIW ( maybe nothing ) I went to my dealer a month ago to get my deposit back after getting fed up and had the SM tell me I have one guy ahead of me and to not loose hope - he convinced me to leave the deposit on.

I was in the camp that more allocations would trickle in including 2017 cars. However, I had to change my view when the Dubai porsche dealer (largest in the world by sales volume) refunded all their pending RS deposits last month after receiving information from the factory that further demand would not be satisfied. I also collected my refund check of approx $13600 along with many others. It makes sense that RS allocations are over when you consider that gen 2 911s have already started production and there have been recent rumours of a 2017 gen 2 gt3.

Is not the dealer that can decide on allocation
but the regional branch of PAG
that deals with them based on
forecasts, internal strategies etc.
so far is PCNA the branch that got from PAG and sold
more RS (through their local dealers)
and not the dealers
btw on mid end March will be clarified about next batch
and rumours are on both sides so we have to wait a month
