So I was in the dealership over the weekend to firm up my build for the RS and was told that Porsche won't allow any more UV colors for builds after November... so I wasn't able to pick that color. Went with LO instead.
Has anyone else heard the same from other dealerships recently when you go and firm up your build?
I received last allocation @ my dealership two week ago. Will head over there to put options in. I was told that it will be a Feb build. On the dealership config. it shows Miami blue, black and yellow. What's the deal with those colors? Is that only for peeps that had PTS locked in and now cannot go that route?

PS I depart tomorrow for Germany and have a tour of the factory on Thursday July 16th and a luncheon & afternoon session with 'Porsche Exclusive' executives on a Friday July 17th. I will report on those at a later date. I am also trying to arrange for a tour of the Porsche Leipzig production facility on Monday, July 27th.
I got my allocation last week. I was able to change my order to UV from LO but I had been in V70 since last March. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. I added a CXX option last Saturday and on Monday my order was then locked by Germany and unchangeable. I basically got one shot but I did get everything in there though.

yellow stitching, yellow door pull handle, black riser. I ended up going with black wheels and black riser. Wife didn't care about silver wheels so I lost.
My build was placed 11/5 for UV. Dealer received production date of 2/8 with no issues. Last i saw I was at V180 (not sure what that means) however dealer said order was accepted otherwise they reject in a few days and that did not happen.
Dark Knight, German style. I am trying to add white dials and being told 90% not possible but they are exchanging emails. My order lock date was supposed to be 11/27 but they froze it last Thursday as soon as I put my spec in the system. I basically had one shot at specing my car. Not sure if CXX caused this or not.
So when specing your car make sure you get everything in on the 1st try or else.
