OT: Porsche driving Experience - Anyone Do It?
I have an opportunity next September to take a CE course that that is linked to the Porsche Driving Experience. As much as I like getting credits, I think this is pretty much a no brainer as I can get CE and write off the trip (and do some driving). I just wanted to know if anyone has gone and what your impressions were.

when you say "porsche driving experience", are you referring to the porsche sport driving school at barber motor sports park in birmingham, alabama???
if so, you should absolutely go - tomorrow!!! sign up for the two day, if you can... it's the most fun i've had in a long time, and i learned a great deal from the top notch instructors teaching there - hurley haywood, for one...
can't wait to go back for the masters class this spring...

Barber MP is a fabulous facility and highly recommended. If it's the Atlanta center still recommended. There is a 1mi road circuit which is fun but not a real track like Barber. There are a number of car control exercises- skid pad, low friction course, kick plate (great fun). Both have great staff and instructors.

It's definitely Barber in Alabama. I guess I probably need to do this considering I have a pretty good shot of getting a GT3 RS if they do the .2.
