That was an AMAZING video, especially the last part, seeing all 3 cars on the racetrack at once and seeing/hearing the drivers' enjoyment and comments.

The 918 in car video looks like he's just driving around, whereas the P1 looks like it's trying to kill itself.
You know if Porsche bumped the motor 150hp, dropped the hybrid drive and 300# it would thump the others.

I almost feel like the 918 is in a different class than the P1 and the LaFerrari.
Not necessarily better, just different.
It's almost like Porsche set out to build a completely functioning hybrid/KERS vehicle that is fully capable of setting a lap time in e-mode. And just for good measure, it the made the car capable and fast enough to lap the 'Ring in less than 7 minutes.
McLaren, on the other hand, set out to build the most extreme track capable weapon using hybrid technology. Hence the full race mode, slicks and the "non street legal" thing.
Ferrari just does what it does. Builds these gorgeous looking cars with gobs and gobs of power. And then for good measure, threw in some more power.

Totally worth not doing a whole lot of other stuff that I had to do! Just wished they didn't duck the question at the end. I would have liked to hear their answers. Also I wonder why they didn't exclude race mode on the P1 for the comparison if not road legal--apples and oranges.

At the end, each was in the car they preferred. And, Harris was hooning away burning rubber to slow the P1 down so the other two could keep up in the video. P1>918>LF.
